Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro ICU Location: Madison, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,354 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro ICU RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care within the past 3 years License: Valid RN license required Certifications: AHA - BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Experience in intracanial pressure (ICP) monitoring or ventriculostomy Description: Evening/Night, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and some holidays. Must have experience in ICP or ventriculostomy. Two years of experience in acute care within the past three years is required. Epic experience is required. Basic Arrhythmia experience is necessary. Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. This unit provides care for critically ill adult patients with various neuro diagnoses. Strong critical thinking skills and specialized interventions are essential. The unit serves as a hub of intensive care for a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The team values nurse-driven collaboration with certified physicians and interdisciplinary care team members. Patient diagnoses include ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, and traumatic brain injury. Special equipment used includes external ventricular drains and lumbar drains. Daily patient ratios are 2:1 on nights and weekends. Floating may be required based on current staffing needs. Weekend rotations and some holiday shifts are mandatory. Travelers should have active telemetry competency on file.
