Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Mauston, WI Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,440 to $1,584 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $40.00 - $44.00/Hourly. Summary: The Surgical Technician position prepares the operating room, including setting up the sterile field and setting up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions. During surgery, this role passes instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon and prepares and manages surgical equipment, the sterile field, and specimens. Responsibilities: Maintain a clean and sterile surgical environment, provide the surgeon with appropriate instrumentation and equipment, and assist the surgeon during procedures. Prepare the operating room for surgery. Keep records of use of Steam Sterilizer. Perform initial instrument, sharps, and sponge counts with the circulator. Keep the suture carts organized and watch expiration dates. Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certified Surgical Technologist certification Required, 1 years of related work experience preferred. BLS Certification required, Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
