This person will complete field and office survey related duties accurately and on time for internal and external clients. We offer project exposure to a variety of municipal and private projects. This is a great opportunity to work on project from cradle to crave including project management. This position has the opportunity to grow into being in charge of surveying in our Iowa program based on planned retirements.Responsibilities:Gather survey related field information necessary for: boundary retracement, platting land division, topographic mapping, horizontal and vertical control, right of way location, and utility locations to be used in preparation of survey maps, and engineering plans and specification.Either manually or with reduction software transfer field information into CAD drawings.Assist with proposals and cost estimatesPerform project management functions including computations, reduction of field data, quality control, filing and organizing projects.Perform office functions including computations, reduction of field notes, filing and retrieving prints, and running printsAssist in municipal plan preparation, construction observation and staking
