Analyst II identifies and solves problems affecting the business
solution, and works closely with the project manager to analyze the
existing business systems and make recommendations for
improvementResponsibilities:1. Analyzes and models the business
domain to create a complete picture of work-flows, task assignments
and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed
software; including analyzing documents and processes to establish
problem areas.2. Acts as liaison with system users and various
stakeholders in developing usability requirements by conducting
interviews, performing surveys and administering questionnaires.3.
Acts as liaison with information systems staff to develop technical
requirements.4. Supports the Project Manager to define the business
problem and primary objectives of new projects.5. Identifies and
validates the key business requirements.6. Conducts feasibility
studies for new proposed systems.7. Produces requirement definition
documents and determines the cost benefit analysis as needed.8.
Designs dataflow diagrams for current process and new proposed
system or improvements..9. Evaluates potential software solutions,
including off-the-shelf and open source components, and the system
architecture to ensure that they meet business requirements.10.
Creates functional requirements in use cases. Coordinate
requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user
representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models
accurately portray business needs.11. Specifies requirements that
are in line with the company's vision and mission.12. Produces
appropriate reports from the analysis.13. Is involved in the
overall HTLF roadmap for technical tools.14. Assists with project
management duties as needed.15. Participates in the Project
Management Center of Excellence.16. Completes annual E-Learning
Plan and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training as assigned and keeps
up-to-date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job
function.17.Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:1.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field;
or equivalent years of experience.2. 3 or more years of Business
Analysis experience.3. 5-7 years of experience in Information
Services or related field.4. In depth knowledge of 2 or more
Heartland business units.5. Must be familiar with a variety of the
field's concepts, practices and procedures.6. Knowledge of MS
Office and additional MS Tool, RDBMS concepts and Information
Technology skills.7. High level of understanding of enterprise
tools.8. Knowledge of requirement gathering and analysis
methodologies and Process Mapping techniques.9. Knowledge of
software applications and architectures.10. Project Management
methodologies.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Time Type:Full timeThe
targeted salary for this role is:$77,547.00You may also be offered
incentive compensation, and benefits. Compensation may vary and is
based on geographic location of the specific role as well as the
skills and experiences of the selected candidate.
