We are looking for a talented General Assembly - STW / YA to join our team specializing in MANUFACTURING for our BUSINESS SEGMENT in Mineral Point, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  Performs non-production activities which support the manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance
  
  
• 
  Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
  
  
• 
  Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact.
  
  
• 
  Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation, policies, and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet manufacturing goals.

    Experience
    Requires some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

      High school Juniors and Seniors who are at least 16 years old are eligible to apply for these roles.
      
      
    • 
      Cummins will work with the students on a flexible schedule that meets the criteria for the Youth Apprenticeship program through CESA3 in Southwest Wisconsin
      
      
    • 
      Youth Apprentices will work in specified positions throughout the plant doing assembly work of after treatments.
      
      
      Compensation and Benefits
      Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
