This individual helps develop and execute communications strategies with the Corporate Communications leader, leading division and business line communications that drive employee engagement across HTLF and our bank divisions.Primary ResponsibilitiesHelps develop and implement communications strategies that inform and engage employees across business lines and bank divisions.Works closely with senior leaders to draft and edit leadership communications, talking points, and presentations, effectively capturing the voice and strategic priorities of the organization.Ensures core messages are consistent across the organization and reflect strategic priorities.Supports communications activities including, but not limited to:

  • town halls
    • business line employee meetings
      • project and business line communicationsManages multiple projects simultaneously and understands project priorities in the context of the company's strategic plan.Supports multi-platform communication tools including email, intranet, video, screen savers and digital displays.Measures and evaluates success against communications goals and oversees quarterly metrics reports and dashboards.Monitors company and bank division media coverage; compiles and distributes monthly report.Establishes and maintains employee communications and intranet editorial calendars.Completes annual E-Learning Plan and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training as assigned and keeps up-to-date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job function.Qualifications5-7 years of communications, public relations and/or marketing experience - requiredMust possess excellent organization and planning skills; time and project management - requiredExcellent attention to detail, including strong writing, editing and proofreading skills - requiredAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes demanding and challenging environment - requiredAbility to work alone or lead a team to get the job done, manage the flow of projects, programs and processes necessary to attract and retain customers to HTLF's bank divisions - requiredMust possess leadership skills including strategic thinking, decision-making and the ability to work with senior leaders - requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and other applicable software applications - requiredBanking or other financial experience - preferredScheduled Weekly Hours:40Time Type:Full time
