We are seeking Trained Medication
Assistants / Certified Medication Assistants to join our team at
Mount Carmel Bluffs in our Assisted Living (and later Residential
Care Facility) setting. These positions may include working every
other weekend and scheduled holidays.
As a Trained Medication Assistant, your
contributions play an important role in caring for the needs of
older adults with medication administration as well as overseeing
their physical, emotional, social, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
You are responsible for the provision of high quality
personal care and services to residents to support their Personally
Designed Living choices while maintaining consistency with
regulations and established best practices.

Mount Carmel Bluffs, a shared ministry of
the Sisters of Charity, BVM and Presbyterian Homes & Services, will
be a new senior community in a beautiful and serene location atop
the bluffs of Dubuque, Iowa, overlooking the Mississippi River.
This community offers the following care options: Assisted Living,
Memory Care, and Care Center/Long Term Care (Residential Care
Facility coming soon)
The Trained Medication Assistant is
responsible for the provision of high quality care and services to
Care Center residents consistent with regulations and established
clinical best practices. The Trained Medication
Assistant administers medications and treatments under the direct
supervision of a nurse and performs Resident Assistant
responsibilities as assigned.
Medication Administration certification
- Nursing Assistant certification required.
Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's
mission and operating philosophies.
Demonstrated ability to read, write,
speak and understand the English language to communicate with all
