Communication Program at Clarke University invites applications for
a full-time, three-year appointment, with the possibility of moving
to a tenure-track, faculty position in Communication to begin
August 2021. The successful candidate will be expected to teach
both lower- and upper-division courses in an undergraduate
Communication curriculum. The appointee is expected to teach
strategic communication courses in areas such as public relations
and crisis communications, as well as courses in our core
curriculum, which may include our introductory course in media
studies, media writing, professional presentation, or a
communication law course. Candidates with a doctorate in
Communication, Media Studies, or closely related field are
preferred. Although Clarke is known as a University primarily
focused on teaching, professional activities and service to the
Department and University are expectations for full-time faculty.
