Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is seeking a Rehabilitation
Program Manager with experience to lead our new rehab department at
Mount Carmel Bluffs in Dubuque, Iowa. This position is an integral
member of the start up team for the new care center anticipated to
open winter 2021.
This position is for 30 hours per week with the opportunity to
increase to 40 hours per week as rehab census grows. The preferred

Mount Carmel Bluffs is a shared ministry of the Sisters of
Charity, BVM and Presbyterian Homes & Services, will be a new
senior community in a beautiful and serene location atop the bluffs
of Dubuque, Iowa, overlooking the Mississippi River.
The Rehabilitation Program Manager is responsible for planning,
organizing, developing, evaluating and effectively directing the
rehabilitation staff and program in a transitional care setting in
order to ensure the delivery of high quality resident care and
services consistent with regulations and established best
The Rehabilitation Program Manager has responsibility as a
member of the site leadership team to participate in the planning
and implementation of strategies and programming that assure high
quality resident care while achieving short and long-term
operational goals and objectives for the site.
* Graduate of an accredited program. Registered therapist with
current licensure in state(s) for assigned program oversight.
* Three to five (3 - 5) years leadership experience in
* Demonstrated working knowledge of the interrelationships of
speech, occupational, physical therapy, or other
rehabilitation/wellness programs in patient care.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of Medicare and third party
reimbursement and qualification.
* Ability to work cooperatively with other health care
providers, staff, family and residents in meeting resident/patient
* Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating
* Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the
English language to communicate with all customers.
