Job Description:
Waste Connections, a leader in integrated waste services, is
seeking a dedicated CDL Driver to join our team. This position is
crucial for ensuring efficient and safe transportation of waste
materials from various sectors including residential, commercial,
and industrial areas. As a CDL Driver at Waste Connections, you
will play a key role in maintaining community cleanliness and
environmental sustainability. Our commitment to service excellence
and environmental responsibility offers an enriching environment
for professional growth in the waste management industry. Operate
heavy or tractor-trailer trucks to collect waste and recyclables
from designated locations. Ensure compliant waste disposal and
manage documentation for tracking waste disposal. Perform daily
vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee safe
operation. Adhere to all safety procedures and regulatory
guidelines set by the company and local, state, and federal laws.
Navigate routes efficiently while ensuring punctual waste
collection services. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and
customer service teams to address any operational challenges.
Strong driving skills and familiarity with local routes and
navigation systems. Excellent physical condition and ability to
perform labor-intensive duties. Knowledge of safe waste handling
and disposal procedures. Ability to manage schedules and maintain
punctuality with minimal supervision. High adaptability to various
environmental conditions and ability to handle hazardous materials
safely. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
with air brake endorsement. Clean driving record. DOT Medical
Card.
