Position Title: Forklift Operator - Reach Experience Required Wage: $21.57/hour Shift: Nights Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am (2-2-3 Rotation) We are hiring for a top plastic manufacturer in Madison, WI that is seeking enthusiastic warehouse associate to join their collaborative and supportive environment. Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate forklift equipment to perform required duties to support production, fill customer orders, and ensure consistent flow of materials both inbound and outbound - Meet department goals for efficiency - Participate in continuous improvement efforts - Fill customer production orders accurately and efficiently, ensure that product is stored, received, and shipped to quality standards - Perform timely and accurate transactions to maintain the integrity of inventory systems - Complete all shift documentation/paperwork - Maintain department equipment by performing daily checks, maintain department KPI's - Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Forklift Operator Requirements: - At least three years of forklift experience including Reach experience - Longevity in work history, recent forklift experience required - Mechanical aptitude - Basic math skills - Computer and software skills - Ability to lift up to 10lbs continuously (cases of product and hand tools) - Ability to lift 11-30lbs regularly (3-4 times per shift) - Ability to lift 31-50lbs occasionally (1-2lbs per shift) - Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and stand for long periods of time - Ability to work in warm environments - Ability to read, write, and speak English to meet training, safety, and quality requirements madison@qpsemployment.com IND035 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
