Facility in Davenport, IA seeking CC/Pulm locums coverage Rates: $325/hr Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: PRN (As needed).
• Credentialing: 60-day timeframe.
• Work Setting: Inpatient ICU Rounding and Admitting.
• Support Staff: Robust APP coverage (3 APPs Mon Fri; 1 NP Sat Sun; 1 PA Nights).
• EMR: Cerner (Transitioning to EPIC 10/26).
• Strict Facility Policy: Shifts will not be confirmed until the MSO verifies the provider s application file is 100% complete.

Clinical Scope & Volume The physician will lead the critical care team in a Level 3 Trauma environment, managing high-acuity pulmonary and critical care patients.

• ICU Volume: Average 18 patients per day (NP support provided).
• Floor Volume: Average 10 non-ICU pulmonary patients per day.
• Admissions: 3 5 per day.
• ICU Beds: 20.
• Call Ratio: 1:4.

Required Skills & Procedures

• Ventilation Management: Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy) and Non-Invasive (BiPAP/CPAP).
• Core Procedures: Central Line and Arterial Line insertion, Chest tube insertion, Paracentesis, and Thoracentesis.
• Pulmonary Procedures: Bronchoscopy with BAL, Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT).
• Advanced Procedures: Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) and ION robotic-assisted bronchoscopy (Required/Highly Preferred).

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine (Required).
• Fellowship: Completion of a PCCM Fellowship (Required).
• Licensure: Active Iowa (IA) License or IMLC LOQ in hand at time of name clear (Required).
• Certifications: Active ACLS and proficiency in ION/EBUS.
• Background: 100% Clean Malpractice and Background (Required).
• Documentation: Self-Query NPDB pulled within the current month (Required at presentation).
