JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Marshfield, WI 54524 Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Aug 03, 2026 Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8a 5p Call Schedule: Fri (0730a) Fri (0730a) Call Type: Beeper Call Ratio: 1:4 Call Response Time: 30 mins Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15 patients/day Rounding: 1-2 hours per day Phone Consults: 5-10 Case Mix: Acute leukemic patients, IP chemo patients JOB REQUIREMENTS Bone Marrow Biopsy FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner Trauma Level: II Physician in Practice: 3 Support Staff: RNs, MAs, APPs, Office Staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS License: WI or IMLC Board: BC/BE Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS Fellowship: Required Duties & Responsibilities Provide full-time Hematology/Oncology coverage in a clinic and hospital setting. Perform bone marrow biopsies as required. Conduct daily rounding on acute leukemic and inpatient chemotherapy patients. Supervise chemotherapy administration for assigned patients. Participate in shared clinic weekday call for add-on consults and chemotherapy supervision.
