Job Description UW Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Mammography Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: /n 100% FTE, day shift. Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00AM – 5:00PM. Mammo will account for 60% FTE, primarily at University Hospital, with rotation to additional screening sites as needed. Weekend rotations at UW Health Union Corners. The other 40% FTE will be BMD, primarily at University Hospital, with rotation to additional screening sites as needed. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. /n /n Be part of something remarkable /n /n Join our team and be part of the talent that makes UW Health the best work and academic environments! /n /n We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – Mammography to: /n /n - Perform a wide variety of routine, complex and specialized procedures under the general supervision of the section Team Lead and Radiology Manager. /n - Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. /n - Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures. /n - Coordinate and actively participate in the training of other Imaging technologists, fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training other Imaging technologists. /n /n /n At UW Health, you will have: /n /n - An excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, two-week paid parental leave and adoption assistance.
