Director of Nursing (DON) / RN Unit Supervisor - Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care /n/nJob Description: /n- Lead and inspire a team dedicated to providing exceptional nursing care in a Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care Facility. /n- Oversee daily nursing activities, ensuring high standards of care and promoting excellent patient outcomes. /n- Develop and maintain departmental objectives and nursing policies to align with best practices. /n- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans for residents. /n- Foster an environment that respects and upholds residents' rights and choices. /n- Monitor and enforce infection control practices to ensure a safe environment. /n- Prepare and manage departmental budgets while maintaining expense records. /n- Provide consultative direction and expertise to continuously improve nursing services and quality assurance programs. /n- Organize continuing education for staff to enhance their skills and competencies. /n- Serve as a patient advocate and resource for families and interdisciplinary staff. /n- Complete, evaluate, and report monthly quality data related to resident care. /n/nEducation and Experience: /n- Graduate of an accredited nursing program. /n- BSN required upon hire. /n- 2-4 years of supervisory experience in long-term care nursing or demonstrated leadership in a related facility. /n- Knowledge of reimbursement systems and State and Federal Regulations in Long-Term Care. /n/nCertification and Licensure: /n- Licensed as an RN in the state of practice. /n- Approved CPR certification required within 90 days (other certifications per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP). /n/nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): /nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
