Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Madison, WI Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,361 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Wisconsin Start Date: March 23, 2026 Location: Madison, Wisconsin Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour and 8-hour shifts as needed (1500-0330 or 1900-0730); weekend and holiday rotation required Highlights: Work in a 58-bed Emergency Department treating over 60,000 patients annually with full subspecialty support Level I Trauma Center with comprehensive stroke, cardiac, and ECMO/ECPR programs Care for diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics in a Magnet-designated facility Epic EMR system with 20 hours of orientation provided Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts with robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams Academic teaching hospital ranked Wisconsin's 1 hospital Requirements: Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact state license (must be in hand at submittal) Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years Prior experience in an Academic Level I Trauma Center or similar-sized facility Previous travel nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required (within last 12 months preferred) Basic arrhythmia interpretation experience; must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start Current BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association only), and TNCC certifications Permanent residence must be 50 miles from Madison facility Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a world-class emergency care team at a leading academic medical center where you'll provide life-saving care across the full spectrum of emergency medicine.
