Job Description Job Description General Surgeon – $500K Salary $35K Sign-On | Near La Crosse, WI A hospital near La Crosse, WI is seeking a General Surgeon to join their team. General Surgeon Pay & Perks: Salary: $500,000 Sign-On: $35,000 Relocation Assistance: $15,000 CME: $5,000 per year General Surgeon Opportunity: OR Schedule: Mondays (surgery) and Fridays (endoscopy), with additional block time available Clinic Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday Clinic Patients Per Day Average: 14 Call Required: 30 minutes General Surgeon Responsibilities: Provide a broad range of general surgical care, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency procedures Perform 1–3 surgical cases weekly (average) and 4–5 endoscopies per week, with opportunities for more Participate in ~15–20 primary emergency C-sections annually, plus assist with additional deliveries Utilize advanced surgical resources, including da Vinci Xi robot with 24/7 availability Participate in call rotation (shared among 3–4 surgeons, typically 1-week increments) Collaborate with a dedicated NP/PA team, anesthesia group, and hospital staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes General Surgeon Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery Eligible for Wisconsin medical license Strong clinical and communication skills The Surrounding Area: Surrounded by dairy farms and local markets offering fresh produce Nearby lakes, forests, and parks ideal for kayaking, hiking, and camping Affordable living with easy access to La Crosse for shopping, dining, and entertainment Centrally located with quick travel to multiple regional cities while maintaining a peaceful, small-town lifestyle
