Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation • No on-call responsibilities • 24 months of Emergency experience required • Must have completed a travel contract within previous 18 months • EPIC EMR experience required • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, BLS (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale • De-escalation certificates highly preferred: CPI, MOAB, MAB, SAMA (can be obtained during onboarding if not certified) • Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required • Skills checklist specific to emergency department required • Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months preferred • Driver's license required • Orientation dates available: 3/2, 3/9 • Quick interview process with phone call/text from 405 area code • NIH Stroke Scale certificate can be obtained during onboarding if not currently held Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department providing critical care services to the community.
