Job Title: Oncology Infusion RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, Chemotherapy certification (ONS or ONCC) required Must-Have: OCN certification preferred Description: Bed Side Shift Reporting and utilization of AIDET are required for all RN units. Clinicians will be requested to sign an attestation to confirm awareness of this requirement during compliance. The Oncology Infusion RN position involves infusing chemotherapy treatments and other infusions in the Oncology Infusion Clinic. Responsibilities include chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration, oncology telephone triage, management of ambulatory infusion pumps, and therapeutic phlebotomies. Candidates may be required to float within the facility as needed. Compliance requirements include completion of background checks and credentialing procedures within specified time frames. References from supervisors are required.
