Pay Information $3,166 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: RN license required, compact license acceptable Certifications: Relevant certifications required Must-Have: Experience with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), cardioversions, tilt tables, stress testing, and EKGs is essential. Description: The role involves providing nursing care in a cardiac catheterization setting. Patients may present with conditions such as coronary artery disease and peripheral artery disease. The nurse will participate in special procedures, including vascular angiography and vascular intervention. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1. Charting will be conducted using an electronic health record system. There is a rotating on-call requirement for weekends and holidays. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, with shifts ranging from morning to early evening. Support may be provided to an outpatient center as needed.
