The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively searching for a Chief Medical Officer at a Community Health Center in Dubuque, IA.Practice Details:* Clinic Hours: M, T, Th, F 8:00am-5:00pm, W 10:00am-7:00pm, 32-40 hours per week, 4- or 5-day work week* Patients: 14-17 per day* Current Staff: 1 Physician, part-time Pediatrician, 3 NPS, part-time Physician, 1-2 nursing staff per provider* Number of exam rooms: 12 with plans to build out to 15* Call: No call or nights or weekends, after hours call answer service* 50/50 split of patient care and administrative duties* Perform professional, high quality medical care to patients in low income and medically underserved populationsWe Offer:* Compensation: Salaried position plus quality incentive* Contract length: 3 years preferred* Insurance: Health, Dental, and Vision insurance* Malpractice insurance: FTCA* Disability insurance: short-term and long-term* CME: $3,500 and 5 days* PTO: negotiable* Holidays: In addition to PTO* Loan Repayment: NHSC and Iowa Primary Care Provider Loan Repayment Program* Sign on bonus negotiable* Free use of Wellness Center and ability to refer patients for free use as wellHealth Center Overview:* EHR: Centricity* Crescent Community Health Center opened in 2006, moved to new building in November 2019* State of the art facility and equipment* Located along the scenic wooded bluffs of the Mississippi River in Iowa's oldest city* Lab on site* Pharmacy in the building, 340 B Program, Director of Pharmacy Services and contract pharmacists on site* Power users in placed for EHR training* NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home CertifiedCommunity Overview:* Dubuque's population= 58,531* City lies in the junction of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin- known as the Tri- State area* Serves as the main commercial, industrial, educational, and culture center in the area.* Lots of hills and located on the river with a beautiful river walk* Area has lots of trail systems and renovated parts of the community* Two public school systems and one private school.--Colleges and Universities consist of:--Clarke, University of Dubuque, NICC, Loras College, Seminary* Variety of food restaurants and beautiful housing areasHome to adult intramural sports, kids' soccer, hockey, Millwork area district, River casinos, a symphony, Arboretum, Winter and Summer Farmer's Markets, Festivals, Sundown Snow Ski, Catfish creek, Gold Courses, and more.
