Senior Engineering Manager to lead a growing Reliability,
Maintainability, and Safety (RMS) engineering team that supports
the development of innovative aviation solutions. If you are

Engineering Manager will lead a team of multi-site RMS engineers
supporting products across multiple business portfolios within
Collins Aerospace. This position is a member of the RMS / HF
Engineering department within the Collins Aerospace Product Safety
organization. The department supports the life cycle of Collins
products and programs in the RMS and Human Factors disciplines.
This role will lead a team that provides RMS engineering for new
product development, as well as factory and field support. The
position will require on-site attendance. Relocation assistance is
available. An active security clearance or the ability to get one
is required. The role supports multiple sites requiring travel up
to 20% of the time. This is a hybrid role that can be located in
Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Colorado Springs, Colorado or Richardson,
Texas. What you will do: Attract, develop, and engage a talented
and expert team through cultivating an environment of autonomy,
mastery, and purpose. Build and promote the capabilities of the
team. Responsible for identification and development of key roles
and succession planning. Foster active and open communication to
work in partnership with engineering teams across portfolios.
Promote adherence to and advancement of Collins RMS process
throughout the lifecycle of products and systems. Drive a culture
of quality, consistency, and continuous improvement within team.
Ensures team understands and implements necessary processes,
standards, tools, templates, etc. Oversees and participates in
development of engineering bids; approves work scope for cognizant
developments. Responsible for program performance for cognizant
projects and tactical execution of day-to-day operations. Manage
technical execution, cost and schedule performance, and maintain
performance metrics for management review and continuous
improvement. Identifying the necessary staff, facilities and
equipment needed for successful execution of projects. Promote,
foster and drive a culture of high ethical standards for the RMS
organization. Qualifications you must have: Typically requires a
degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced
Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience U.S.
citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a
security clearance and t he ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.
government issued security clearance is required. A development
background in aircraft systems, hardware, or software is required.
Strong technical, leadership, and organizational skills. Project
Management experience to include project cost, schedule, and scope
management. Experience coaching or mentoring in a formal or
informal setting. Qualifications we prefer: Knowledge of ARP4761/
ARP4754 / MIL-STD-882 / MIL-HDBK-217 / NPRD Experience in RMS
engineering activities Experience working in Scaled Agile Framework
(SAFe) team environment Knowledge of Civil and Military
airworthiness standards Experience with leading multi-geographic

132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good
faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
