Review and approve sampling procedures and designs, forms and
instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and
Review and supervise programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of
production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical
equipment and facilities.
May conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
Considered a specialist in areas of quality control engineering,
such as design, incoming material, process control, product
evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology,
automated testing, software, research and development, and
Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and
tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality
Plans and directs activities concerned with development,
application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial
processes, materials, and products.
Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection,
testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields
such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.
May manage quality control program.
Research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of
products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and evaluate product
integrity and standards.
Bachelor degree in engineering required.
8-10 years' experience required Responsibility level.
Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and
problem-solving ability (Required).
Team player and detail oriented (Required).
Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support
and constructive performance feedback (Required).
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing,
schematics and computer-generated reports (Typically required).
Previous experience with computer applications and software related
to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Typically has a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
The technical skills include the ability to make sketches and
engineering drawings and experience using computer applications
related to the engineering field.
Quality experience in Manufacturing processes. GD&T,
measurement systems, Core tools.
Leadership skills (candidate will manage Quality team, technician
and inspectors in 2nd shift).
Exp in Quality Engineering.
Exp with GD&T.
Exp in reading blueprints or schematic diagrams.

The manager is looking for the following skills.
Quality operation experience (quality basic knowledge, evaluate
risk, make decisions, leadership skills to manage Qty team
technician and inspectors in 2nd shift).
Root cause analysis (Detect and manage non-conformance product,
hold suspect product, evaluate rework, find root causes, apply
containment actions, and corrective actions).
GD&T & measurement system (know how to read blue prints, know
measurement system, correct evaluation).
