Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position
-Your Responsibilities -As an Electrical Design -Engineer -for John
Deere Small Excavators located in Dubuque, IA, you will, support
the Small Excavator Electrical System Design Development. - In
addition, you will: -
- Collaborate within a cross functional team to develop
electrical designs that meet customer needs
- Support the design and print development for small excavator
electrical components within the product delivery process of new
product programs
- Support physical builds, production launches, testing, and
customer field evaluations -VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for
this positionWhat Skills You Need -
- Experience in a Product Engineering Design environment
- Experience with product development processes
- Strong desire and ability to learn and apply electrical
component -design principals to ongoing design activities
- Demonstrated experience and ability to analyze technical data,
consider multiple alternatives, and provide data-driven
decisions/recommendations
- Knowledge of electrical components such as batteries, starters,
alternators, rocker switches, relays, solenoids, sensors,
actuators, and connectors
- Experience managing projects
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership
skills
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestic and
internationally, up to 25%What Makes You Stand Out -
- Familiarity -with -construction, agriculture, or forestry
equipment
- Cross-functional experience related to verification,
performance evaluation, software, and/or manufacturing teams
- Working knowledge of John Deere product development
processes
- Experience working with system requirements, electronic
hardware, circuit design and analysis
- Experience with Vspy, CPS Test Tool, Service Advisor, Visio,
yED -and Matlab/SimulinkEducation -Ideally you will have a degree
or equivalent related work experience in the following: -
