As Quality Customer Interface Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with innovative and diverse teams around the world. This opportunity is located in Dubuque, Iowa.

Job Profile Description

  • Maintain communication with customer and Mexico Plants
  • Communicate all Official and unofficial complains via Unofficial reports.
  • Maintain Matrix with all details during a visit to a customer plant.
  • Perform Regular quality meetings with Customer departments to review LEONI Q Performance over all locations and information Leoni internal
  • Support of the plant at assembly / mount-ability and initial sampling for customer
  • Complaints management: communication to Plant and customer see also VA3006 (line 163)
  • Receiving and forwarding claim to the plant (Characterizes the non-conformities and provides technical details)
  • Coordination of sorting / rework activities at customer.
  • Examination/Analysis at customer site
  • Sort and/or repair harnesses at the customer location.
  • In case of customer liability, proposes solutions and/or support to solve the issues (problem solving and customer-oriented attitude)
  • Coordinate escalation to the customer (from customer side)
  • Management of complaints cost (Customer deductions)
  • Definition of test criteria with customer.
  • Presents the action plans to customers and negotiates LEONI liability (NQ-costs and KPI)
  • Collaboration with Internal Support Teams. Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree (Electric / Electronic Preference).
    • One Year Experience in Quality.
    • Responsible for travel across USA and Mexico.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Excellent communications (Both Written and Verbal)
    • Located Close to main Customer assigned (Dubuque, Iowa) and within 60miles to a main airport.
    • Language English (Spanish is a plus but not required).
    • Be proactive to solutions
    • Experience in Microsoft Office
    • Problem solution Technics.
